HEARING BY THE MAYOR & VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
EL PORTAL
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 9th day of December 2025, at a Planning and Zoning meeting the Mayor & Village Council of the Village of El Portal, held at 6:30 P.M., at Village Hall at 500 NE 87th St., the Village Council will consider the special exception at 205, 245 NE 87th Street, 190 NE 90 Street and 8960 NE 2 Avenue Special Exception– as set forth below:
Special Exception, 205, 245 NE 87 Street, 190 NE 90 Street, 8960 NE 2 Avenue in the Village of El Portal, Florida
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF EL PORTAL, FLORIDA GRANTING A SPECIAL EXCEPTION APPROVAL FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION OF A SCHOOL AT 205, 245 NE 87 STREET, and construction of a remote school parking lot at 190 NE 90 STREET, 8960 NE 2 AVENUE IN ZONE 4 (MAIN STREET), IN THE VILLAGE OF EL PORTAL, AN APPLICATION BY TOL REAL ESTATE, LLC PROVIDING FOR FINDINGS; PROVIDING FOR CONDITIONS; PROVIDING FOR APPEAL; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
The public may inspect the proposed resolution in the office of the Village Clerk of the Village of El Portal, located in the Village Hall at 500 NE 87th St. Interested parties may appear at the meeting and be heard.
Under the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA), disabled persons who, because of their disabilities, need special accommodation to participate in the meeting or hearing should contact the Village Clerk of El Portal at yjacobi@villageofelportal.com or by telephone at 305-795-7880 no later than three (3) business days before such meeting or hearing.
Under the provisions of F.S. Section 286.0105, should any person desire to appeal any decision of the Village Council concerning any matters to be considered at this meeting, that person must ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which includes all testimony and evidence upon which any appeal may be based.
