Public Notice The Board of County Commissioners of Miami-Dade County, Florida, will conduct a public hearing in its meeting room on the 2nd floor of the Stephen P. Clark Government Center, 111 NW 1st Street, Miami, Florida, on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 9:30 A.M., to consider the “Century Estates North Multipurpose Maintenance and Street Lighting Special Taxing District.” A petition for the creation and establishment of a special taxing district under the provisions of Chapter 18 of the Code of Miami-Dade County has been filed with the Clerk of the Board. The services to be provided will include multipurpose maintenance and street lighting services. The boundaries of the proposed district are generally described as follows: EXIST. MISSY ESTATES SECOND ADDITION S.T.D.(L-994) BAILE Bounded on the North, Bailes Road; S ROAD Bounded on the East, Theoretical SW 117 Place; Bounded on the South, SW 232 Street; 1 N Bounded on the West, SW 118 Avenue. 6 DISTRICT SW 230 TERRAC BOUNDARIES Boundaries are further indicated by the attached map. E 2 All interested persons may appear before the Board at the hour and date set forth above or file written support for or 1 4 objection to the district’s creation and/or confirmation of the district’s Preliminary Assessment Roll with the Clerk of the Board at the above-noted address. Implementation of the assessment roll will be in accordance with the procedures 8 5 1 defined in Chapter 18 of the Code. The multipurpose maintenance assessment covering a 12-month period will be computed by multiplying the total SW 231 LANE assessable square footage by the rate of $0.2772 per assessable square foot. All future assessments will be computed 3 on an annual basis. 1 4 15 TYPICAL UNDERGROUND The street lighting assessment covering a 12-month period will be computed by multiplying the lot or parcel assessable INSTALLATION (SW 232 STREET) N.T.S. front footage by the rate of $3.2522 per assessable front foot. (L-1086) The assessments will be included in the Combined Property Tax Bill and collected by the Tax Collector. Per Florida Statutes, failure to pay non-ad valorem assessments when due [payable November 1 through March 31] will cause CENTURY ESTATES NORTH MULTIPURPOSE MAINTENANCE AND issuance of a tax certificate against the property, which may result in loss of title.
