FY 2020-2024, AND FY 2025-2029 CONSOLIDATED PLANS
PUBLIC NOTICE INFORMATION
The Housing Committee of the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at or after 1:00 PM. Subsequently, the actions described below will be considered for final action by the BCC on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at or after 9:30 AM. Both meetings will be held inside Board of County Commission Chambers located on the second
level of the Stephen P. Clark Center, 111 NW 1st Street, Miami, Florida 33128. The purpose of the hearing is to allow the public
an opportunity to comment on the proposed Substantial Amendments to the FY 2009, 2010, 2016, 2019, and 2021-2025 Action
Plans and the corresponding FY 2008-2012, FY 2013-2017, as extended through FY 2019, FY 2020-2024, and FY 2025-2029
Consolidated Plans, for the following actions:
• Recapture a total of $1,132,820.78 in CDBG funds, $150,00.00 of HOME funds, and $3,535.28 of ESG funds from
agencies that have declined awards, agencies that have completed activities with remaining balances, and activities
that were cancelled due to the inability to meet a United States Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD)
National Objective.
• Reallocate a total of $1,132,820.78 in CDBG funds, $150,000.00 of HOME funds, and $3,535.28 of ESG funds to various
activities Countywide as set forth in Exhibits A and B of the Substantial Amendment.
• Change in activity of the Centro Campesino Farmworker Center, Inc. Florida City Village development from a rental activity
to a homeownership activity.
The proposed Substantial Amendment described above will be available for review beginning November 20, 2025 online
at http://www.miamidade.gov/housing/notices.page, by calling (786) 469-4316, or by requesting a copy via email at
communitydevelopmentservices@miamidade.gov.
The public is invited to attend and comment. All interested parties are invited to submit written comments from
November 20, 2025, until December 22, 2025, to the attention of Ms. Lakisha Grey, Chief of Community Development,
Housing and Community Development, 701 NW 1st Court, 14th Floor, Miami, Florida 33136 or via e-mail to
communitydevelopmentservices@miamidade.gov.
