NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING MERCED IRRIGATION DISTRICT 2025 AGRICULTURAL WATER MANAGEMENT PLAN UPDATE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Merced Irrigation District Board of Directors will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, to receive public comments on and consider adoption of the District's 2025 Agricultural Water Management Plan Update. The public hearing will be held at: Merced Irrigation District Franklin Control Center Crocker & Huffman Conference Room 3321 N. Franklin Road Merced, CA 95348 The hearing is being held pursuant to California Water Code Section 10841. The purpose of the hearing is to provide interested persons an opportunity to comment on the District's proposed 2025 Agricultural Water Management Plan Update. Following the public hearing, the Board of Directors may adopt the 2025 Agricultural Water Management Plan Update as prepared or as modified during or after the hearing. The 2025 Agricultural Water Management Plan Update describes the District's water supplies, water uses, service area, water management facilities, water accounting, water shortage planning, and efficient water management practices. The Draft 2025 Agricultural Water Management Plan Update is available for public review at the District office, located at 744 W. 20th Street, Merced, CA 95340, during regular business hours, and on the District's website at https://mercedid.org/merced-irrigation-district-water/ag-water-management-plan-awmp/.
