NOTICE OF DESTRUCTION OF EDUCATIONAL RECORDS: YOU WILL PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on July 1, 2026, Lexington County School District Four (Gaston-Swansea) will destroy personally identifiable information in special education records for students who last received services during the 2013-2021 school years and/or have a date of birth of January 1, 2021, or earlier. This information is no longer required to provide educational services, nor is it needed for monitoring or auditing purposes. Parents or students who have reached the age of majority maintain the right to request and obtain copies of any records containing their personally identifiable information. If you wish to receive a copy of these records or otherwise object to their destruction, you must contact the Lexington County School District Four Office of Exceptional Children no later than June 30, 2026.
