NOTICE TO BIDDERS
REQUEST FOR SEALED BIDS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Livingston Union
School District, LUSD, (hereinafter the "District")
of Livingston, CA, acting by and through its Governing
Board, will receive sealed bids no later than 2:00:00 pm,
on May 6, 2026, at the LUSD District Office located at,
922 B Street, Livingston, CA, for the following project:
Site Work for (3) New Portable Classroom Buildings
to be located at Yamato Colony Elementary School
in Livingston, CA
Site work – Grading & Drainage, Pad Preparation, install water,
sewer, electrical, fire alarm, concrete flatwork, asphalt paving,
signage & window coverings.
The work shall be performed within the following
time frame: (90 days)
The official bid documents will be available on April 13, 2026,
and may be obtained at the office of SKW & Associates,
2237 Scenic Drive, Modesto, CA (209) 523-8323, or from the website;

A Mandatory Pre-bid Conference and site visit will be
held on April 17, 2026, at 11:00 am, at Yamato Colony Elementary
School, 800 North Main Street, Livingston, CA 95334.
The District has determined the general prevailing rate to be the per
diem wages for each craft or type of workman or mechanic needed
to execute this contract as set forth in the collective bargaining agreements
for Stanislaus, San Joaquin, and Merced Counties, California.
COMPLIANCE MONITORING: This project is subject
to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the
Department of Industrial Relations, Office of the Labor
Commissioner. Copies of all collective bargaining
agreements relating to the work are on file and available
for inspection in the office of the California Department
of Industrial Relations, Division of the Labor Statistics
and Research, 455 Golden State Avenue, San Francisco,
CA 94102, (415-703-4780), <http:/www.dir.ca.gov/dlsr>
In compliance with SB 854, no Contractor or subcontractor
may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project
unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations
pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited
exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under
Labor Code section 1771.1(a)].
In addition, no contractor or subcontractor may be awarded
a contract for public work on a public works project unless
registered with the Department of Industrial Relations
pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5.
A valid Type A and/or B – Contractors License will be required.
Bids must be returned in a sealed envelope, identified
by the bid title "Site Work for (3) New Portable Classroom
Buildings at Yamato Colony Elementary School"
and bearing the name and address of the proposer.
The Board reserves the right to reject any and all Bids
and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received. Unless
otherwise required by law, no bidder may withdraw its
bid for ninety (90) days after the date of the bid opening.
