Housing Element Annual Progress Report for Calendar Year 2025
To All Interested Parties:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council will hold a public hearing on the following item on the date and time listed:
Housing Element Annual Progress Report for Calendar Year 2025. A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Livingston accepting the Housing Element Annual Progress Report for Calendar Year 2025 and direct staff to transmit the report to the State Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) and the Governor's Office of Land Use and Climate Innovation (LCI).
Each year, California cities are required to prepare an annual progress report on the status of implementing the General Plan Housing Element and submit the report to HCD and LCI. Using a form provided by HCD, the annual report provides a snapshot of housing unit production across affordability levels, development applications received and processed during the reporting year, affordable housing production, and provide an update on housing program implementation. The City of Livingston Housing Element Annual Progress Report has been prepared in accordance with Government Code Section 65400(2).
The City Council will be considering adopting a Resolution to accept the Housing Element Annual Progress Report and direct staff to transmit the report to HCD and OPR.
City Council: April 7, 2026 at 7:00 pm
The Public Hearing will be held in the City Council Chambers, 1416 C Street, Livingston. Project plans and materials for the above project are available for review at the City of Livingston, 1416 C Street, after April 3, 2026. Any persons interested in the above application are invited to submit comments in writing or orally prior to or at the Public Hearing.
