NOTICE OF SALE OF PROPERTY
FOR DELINQUENT CHOWCHILLA WATER DISTRICT ASSESSMENTS
AND OTHER LIENS
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that default having been made in the payment of Assessments and/or other liens due the CHOWCHILLA WATER DISTRICT upon hereinafter described real estate; said real estate having been duly levied upon according to the laws regarding such District and thereby becoming delinquent property. The said delinquent property upon which said assessment and/or other charges are a lien will be sold to the Chowchilla Water District at the hour of 12 noon on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at the office of the Chowchilla Water District, 327 S. Chowchilla Boulevard, Chowchilla, California, unless the delinquent assessments together with penalties accrued thereon, as shown in the following list, are paid. Said property will be sold for any or all of the amount remaining due and unpaid.
Subsequent to the sale of the delinquent property to the District, the property may be redeemed by payment of the amount specified in Section 37150 and, if applicable, Section 37155.2 of the California Water Code. After three years from the date of sale of the delinquent property to the District, the right of redemption may be terminated upon execution and delivery to the District of a collector's deed pursuant to Chapter 6 (commencing with Section 37150) of the California Water Code.
The amounts listed below denote the amounts due for those charges which became a lien in the 2025-2026 Assessment Year, and DO NOT INCLUDE COSTS OF RECORDING FEES, AND PUBLICATION TOTALING $29.00 PER ASSESSOR'S PARCEL NUMBER.
All of the property described in the following list lies within the boundaries of the Chowchilla Water District, in the Counties of Merced, State of California.
Landowners are requested to carefully examine the delinquent list and to report any errors to my office.
