NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF LIVINGSTON
To All Interested Parties:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Livingston Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing at a Regular Meeting on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. or soon thereafter in the City Council Chambers, 663 Main Street, Livingston, CA, to consider Site Plan and Design Review Application No. SPDR 2025-03 for development of a one-story 1,340 square foot accessory structure for use as a Sunday School. The building will include two classrooms, restrooms, and a patio. The proposed school is proposed to be operated every day from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.
The subject property is located at 2765 Peach Avenue, Livingston, CA (APN # 023-080-013). The property is owned by the Sikh Temple, and the majority of the 3.9 acre site is developed with a church, parking lot, playground field, and accessory structures. The existing site improvements near the construction site, consisting of a parking lot and landscaping, will remain mostly unchanged.
The project site is zoned R-1 (Low Density Residential) and has a General Plan designation of LD (Low Density Residential).
The proposed Project is exempt from environmental review pursuant to Section 15303 of the CEQA Guidelines, as it consists of construction of a small new structure under 2,500 square feet.
The staff report, project plans, and other materials for the above project will be available for review at the City of Livingston, 1416 "C" Street, after February 6, 2026. Any persons interested in the above application are invited to submit comments in writing or orally prior to or at the Public Hearing.
