PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE BY THE LIVINGSTON CITY COUNCIL OF ITS INTENT TO ADOPT AN ORDINANCE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on January 20, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., or as soon after as the matter may be heard, the City Council of the City of Livingston intends to adopt an Ordinance, entitled: Ordinance Repealing Ordinance No. 650 And Amending Title 4, Chapter 1 Of The Livingston Municipal Code "Building Administration Codes" And Adopting By Reference California Code Of Regulations, Title 24, 2025 Edition Of The California Building Standards And International Property Code, 2024 Edition And All Appendices Attached Thereto The purpose of this Ordinance is to establish minimum building requirements and standards for the protection of public safety, health, property and welfare of the City of Livingston. This Ordinance will also replace Title 4, Chapter 1 of the City of Livingston Municipal Code, to adopt the 2025 California Building Codes, Part 1, 2025 California Administrative Code, Part 2, 2025 California Building Code, Vol. 1 and Vol. 2, Part 2.5, 2025 California Residential Code Part 3, 2025 California Electrical Code, Part 4, 2025 California Mechanical Code, Part 5, 2025 California Plumbing Code, Part 6, 2025 California Energy Code, Part 7, Vacant, formerly California Safety Construction Code, Part 8, 2025 California Historical Building Code Part 9, 2025 California Fire Code, Part 10, 2025 California Existing Building Code Part 11, 2025 California Green Building Standards Code, Part 12, 2025 California Referenced Standards Code and all appendices attached thereto.
