NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEMS MUHSD NEW DISTRICT OFFICE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Merced Union High School District (hereinafter called DISTRICT) is requesting the submission of a request of qualifications ("RFQ") from firms interested in providing professional services to the DISTRICT for the MUHSD NEW DISTRICT OFFICE. The DISTRICT request responses must conform with the requirements of this RFQ as follows: Vendor expertise and capacity to design, install and maintain a scalable, secure and integrated system meeting specific security and privacy requirements. Detail compliance with fire and building regulations in the State of California as it relates to access control System design (card readers, biometrics, etc.) and hardware/software, scalability and integration, open protocol components Training for current and incoming employees/support staff Describe the implementation of software and hardware of the system along with additional parts and/or platform updates. The ability to incorporate modern building materials into an existing building envelope Commitment to meet a compressed design schedule A designated point of contact listed in RFQ The DISTRICT is seeking one firm with a record of excellence in school planning, programming, design and project delivery. The firm should have extensive experience with the Office of Public School Construction ("OPSC"), California Department of Education ("CDE"), the Division of the State Architect ("DSA"), the Uniform Building Code ("UBC"), and Title 24 of the California Code of Regulations.
