NOTICE TO BIDDERS REQUEST FOR SEALED BIDS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Merced County Office of Education, MCOE, (hereinafter the "COE") of Merced, CA, acting by and through the Superintendant Board, will receive sealed bids no later than 2:00:00 pm, on December 23, 2025, at the MCOE Facilities & Support Services Office, 2100B Cooper Avenue, Merced, CA, for the following project: Los Banos VCS – New HVAC at Gym & Site Work – Bid Number #2025-14 Merced VCS – New HVAC at Gym & Site Work – Bid Number #2025-15 General contractor shall perform the following scope of work: Site & partial building demolition, site improvements – concrete & fencing, installation of new wall framing (metal studs), stucco, insulation, sheetrock, tackboard, painting, T-Bar ceiling, HVAC & Electrical. The work shall be performed within the following time frame: (90 days) Complete by March 15, 2025. The COE has determined the general prevailing rate to be the per diem wages for each craft or type of workman or mechanic needed to execute this contract as set forth in the collective bargaining agreements for Stanislaus, San Joaquin, and Merced Counties, California. COMPLIANCE MONITORING: This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations, Office of the Labor Commissioner.
