NOTICE OF LANDOWNER DISTRICT ELECTION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN TO ALL QUALIFIED PERSONS that on November 4, 2025 a landowner district election for the Eastside Water District. There are 5 four-year terms available. To be qualified, a candidate must be over the age of 18 years and either a holder of title to land within the District or the legal representative of a holder of title to land within the District. If a corporation holds title to land, the president of the corporation or persons selected by resolution of its board of directors filed with the District are qualified. Declaration of Candidacy and related forms will be available and must be filed beginning July 14, 2025 through August 8, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. by contacting the board secretary at 209-626-5523 or by email at kareneastsidewater@att.net. If an eligible incumbent does not file during this period, there will be an extension of the nomination period for that specific office until August 13, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. for anyone other than the incumbent. The extension of the nomination period does not apply if there is no eligible incumbent to be re-elected. Appointments to each elective office will be made in the event there are no nominees or an insufficient number of nominees for such office and a petition for an election is not filed within the time period prescribed by law.
