Notice of Opportunity of Public Hearing Macon-Bibb County Transit Authority March 29, 2026 Due to the lack of ridership, the Macon-Bibb County Transit Authority is considering the elimination of the bus Route 2, known as the North Napier/Zebulon Route. Any citizen, community-based organizations, or other affected stakeholders may ask for a public hearing by contacting Brenda Banks at (478) 621-7123. With the elimination of the North Napier/Zebulon Route, the area that this route currently covers will continue to be serviced by Route 11, known as the Log Cabin/North Napier Route. If MTA does not receive community input on this proposed change within 15 days of this notice and the change is approved by the Macon-Bibb County Transit Authority Board of Directors, the elimination of the North Napier/Zebulon Route will become effective at least 30 days after approval.
