GEORGIA, BIBB COUNTY OFFICIAL NOTICE TO VOTERS OF PRECINCT EAST MACON 3 PROPOSED POLLING PLACE CHANGE The Macon-Bibb County Board of Elections hereby gives notice pursuant to O.C.G.A. 21-2-262(c) & 21-2-265 of a proposed permanent change from Appling Middle School located at 1646 Upper River Road, Macon, GA 31211 which is the polling place for precinct East Macon 3 to the Thompson Complex located at 1210 Shurling Drive, Macon, GA 31211. Establishing this proposed change is to address student and school personnel safety concerns by seeking to eliminate the use of schools as polling sites. This change shall be effective for November 4, 2025, Special General Election and all elections moving forward. Any person(s) objecting to this change must file his or her objections with the Elections Superintendent prior to the Board scheduled July 21, 2025, meeting. The Board will act on this proposed change at the Board's meeting on Monday, July 21, 2025, at 4:00 p.m., at the Board's main office located at 3661 Eisenhower Parkway, Ste. MB101, Macon, GA. The meeting is open to the public.
