The U.S. Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration (EDA) is considering a request for Federal assistance from the City of Lebanon to construct a Tank Replacement Project Phase 1 in Marion County, Kentucky. Pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), EDA is conducting an assessment of the potential of the proposed project to affect the environment and/or historic properties. Notice is hereby given that the project is proposed to be located in, or may affect, a floodplain and/or wetland as defined by Executive Order (EO) 11988 and/or EO 11990.
The project consists of constructing one 2 MG elevated storage tank and approximately 19,750 linear feet of 16-inch PVC transmission main. The construction will begin at the new 2 MG storage tank located off Calvary Road. The Latitude is N37°32'56" and Longitude is W85°14'58". The 16-inch PVC transmission main will begin at the new storage tank on Calvary Road. The line will run north along Calvary Road and turn east until LAT: 37°33'35" and LONG: 85°14'60". The transmission main will continue northeast until LA:37°33'52" and LONG: 85°14'09". Then the line will end at LAT: 37°34'43" and LONG: 85°14'01". Most of the proposed activities will take place next to existing facilities or on land that has had prior disturbance.
