PUBLIC NOTICE FOR FACILITY CLOSING The Skilled Nursing Unit located within Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital, 2050 Versailles Road, Lexington, Kentucky 40504, will no longer participate in the Medicare Program (Title XVIII of the Social Security Act), effective June 1, 2026. The agreement between the Skilled Nursing Unit located within Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital and the Secretary of Health and Human Services will be terminated on June 1, 2026, in accordance with the provisions of the Social Security Act. As of the date of this public notice, the Skilled Nursing Unit located within Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital is no longer accepting patients. This closure does not impact the inpatient rehabilitation services provided at Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital. The Medicare program will make payment for Skilled Nursing Unit services furnished to patients admitted prior to June 1, 2026, and payment may continue to be made up to thirty (30) days of inpatient services furnished on or after June 1, 2026.
