Spencer, Executive Director Subject: Coordination Meeting FY 2027 Date: January 20, 2026 You are invited to attend the coordination meeting of Middle Kentucky Community Action Partnership, Inc. (Middle Kentucky) at 10:00 a.m. EST on Monday March 3rd, 2026. The meeting will be held in-person at 171 Howell Heights Jackson, KY 41339 and electronically via Zoom. Middle Kentucky is applying for FY2025 Section 5339, 5310, 5311, Intercity, Appalachian Development Public Transportation Assistance and Rural Transit Assistance Program (RTAP) funds. This is funded through the Federal Transit Administration, administered by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet to provide operating and capital assistance during the period of July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027, for the counties of Breathitt, Lee, Owsley, and Wolfe Counties. Middle Kentucky is the lead agency, we will discuss collaborative agency and organization plans, concerns, Veteran/Military transportation needs and suggestions for Federal Transportation Grants administered by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Office of Transportation Delivery. This includes 5310 (Elderly Individuals and Disabled Individuals) 5311, Intercity, Appalachian Development Public Transportation Assistance, and 5339 (Bus and Bus Facilities Program) and the training funds through Rural Transit Assistance Program. Coordinating public transportation services with other service providers, transportation interests and the private sector is a vital part of the Section 5339, 5310, 5311, Intercity and RTAP projects and the services of Middle Kentucky Community Action Partnership, Inc.
