REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS REGARDING DESIGN-BUILD SERVICES The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from companies interested in providing design-build services for the I-70 Pavement Widening and Improvement Project in Lafayette, Saline, and Cooper Counties. This project will add one lane in each direction on I-70 from MO 23 in Lafayette County to MO 5 in Cooper County, 42 miles in length. The program budget for this project is approximately $566 million. One design-build team will be selected to design and construct the project. Those interested in receiving the Request for Qualifications requirements should send an e-mail request to improvei70@modot.mo.gov. The Request for Qualifications will be released on November 12th, 2026. An Industry Meeting is scheduled for November 16th, 2026 at 10 am at the MoDOT KC District Office, 600 NE Colbern Rd, Lee's Summit, MO 64086.
