PUBLIC NOTICE OF SURFACE MINING APPLICATION – PERMIT EXPANSION G and K Sarai Company dba Rockridge Quarry, 9001 Hickman Mills Drive, Kansas City, MO 64132, has applied for a permit expansion to an existing site on their existing permit from the Department of Natural Resources, Land Reclamation Program, to mine Limestone on an additional 44 acres of land for a total of 405 acres of land located in Jackson County, Section 27-T48N-R33W, Section 26-T48N-R33W, Section 23-T48N-R33W, Section 22-T48N-R33W. This operation will be conducted during the approximate dates of 9/1/2026 to 12/31/2055. Written comments or a request for an informal public meeting may be made by any person with a direct, personal interest in one or more of the factors that the Staff Director may consider in issuing a permit, as required by The Land Reclamation Act, sections 444.760 to 444.790 RSMo.
