NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS PROSPECT VILLAGE INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT FOR WOODSONIA MARKETPLACE COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT JOPLIN, MISSOURI Bids will be received by the Woodsonia Marketplace Community Improvement District ("District" or, where and as it is applicable according to the context, "Owner") in Joplin, Missouri, at the office of OWN, Inc. (Engineer for the District) at 811 E. 3rd Street, Joplin, Missouri 64801 until 4:00 P.M. on the 31st day of July, 2026, for the furnishing of all labor, materials, use of Contractor's equipment, plant, and all else necessary to construct properly all of the improvements within the improvement generally designated Prospect Village Infrastructure Project for the District. At such hour, or as soon as practicable thereafter, the Engineer on behalf of the District, will proceed to open in the presence of all bidders and consider the bids received for the furnishing of such labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the proper construction of such improvements. This project is in Joplin, Missouri near the corner of E 20th Street and Geneva Avenue located on the northern track of the former International Paper property. The scope of the Work specifically includes, but is not limited to, the grading and construction of a new sidewalk and trail along Geneva Ave, utility line and structure relocations along Geneva Avenue, construction of Peters Avenue with utilities, E 20th Street and Peters Avenue intersection, construction of 23rd Street with utilities, mass grading of site indicated in plan sheets, new NW detention pond with outfall structure and pipe, and soil remediation as indicated in the environmental report. This includes removal of bad soils, bringing in new clean soil, compaction, grading, paving, curb and gutter, paint striping and all associated Erosion and Sediment Control. Bid packages, Drawings, Specifications, and Contract Documents, may be examined at the office of the Engineer for the District at 811 E. 3rd Street, Joplin, Missouri 64801. Special Needs: If you have special needs addressed by the Americans with Disabilities Act, please notify the Engineer for the District at least five (5) working days prior to the bid openng. Minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin in consideration of an award. The wage rates applicable to this project have been determined by law and are set forth in the Contract Documents. All Work called for in the drawings and specifications shall be furnished in strict accordance with the drawings and specifications prepared by the Engineer for the District. Bids will be received only upon the bid form furnished through the Engineer for the District Each bid must be accompanied in a SEPARATE SEALED ENVELOPE by a bid bond as evidence of good faith of the bidder and as agreed upon liquidated damages to the District in the event the bidder whose bid is accepted by the Board of Directors of the District fails to enter into contract within ten (10) days after Notice of Award and furnish acceptable bond to complete the Work and pay for all labor done and materials used, such bond to be in the amount of 100% of the total bid price. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of Bid. The District reserves the right to waive informalities, to reject all or any bids, and to re-advertise and solicit new bids.
