NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING THE SIXTH AMENDMENT OF THE ANTIOCH MALL TAX INCREMENT FINANCING PLAN This notice is being provided, pursuant to Section 99.825, RSMo, and in accordance with Section 99.830, RSMo, to inform you that there will be a public hearing held by the Tax Increment Financing Commission of Kansas City, Missouri (the “Commission”), as follows: WHEN: 9:35 a.m., Wednesday, August 12, 2026 WHERE: 300 Wyandotte, Fourth Floor, Kansas City, Missouri, which also can be accessed virtually at https://us06web.zoom.us/j/89120225749?pwd=cHc3OTlpMmFNK2pqZFlGdEROazIvdz09 Meeting ID: 891 2022 5749 Passcode: 199445 WHY: regarding the Sixth Amendment of the Antioch Mall Tax Increment Financing Plan (the “Plan”). The purpose of this hearing is for the Commission to consider recommending that the City Council of Kansas City, Missouri approve the Sixth Amendment, which provides for (1) modifications to the boundaries of the Plan in order to expand the target area for the Housing Program, (2) modifications to the Housing Program to increase the maximum grant allowance for single family homes to $15,000, and (3) modifications to the Conservation Area Study to include the expanded area, as well as the inclusion of all conforming changes within the Exhibits to the Plan that are in furtherance of the foregoing modifications. The Redevelopment Area is generally bounded by N. Garfield Avenue and N. Antioch Road on the west; NE 46th Street to the south; NE 56th Street to the north; and N. Jackson Avenue and N. Norton Avenue on the east, with the exception of an area that is generally bounded by N. Chouteau Trafficway on the north and east, NE 50th Street on the south and N. Antioch on the west, all in Clay County, Kansas City, Missouri. The Plan, together with all amendments thereto, in connection with this public hearing may be reviewed by any interested party on or after August 7, 2026, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at the Commission offices located at 300 Wyandotte, Suite 400, Kansas City, Missouri, 64105. In accordance with Section 99.830.2(3), RSMo, all interested parties will be given an opportunity to be heard at the public hearing. According to Section 99.830.3, RSMo, each taxing district located wholly or partially within the Redevelopment Area may submit comments or objections to the Commission concerning the subject matter of the public hearing prior to the date of the public hearing.
