NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING THE TERMINATION OF
THE PROSPECT NORTH TAX INCREMENT FINANCING PLAN
This notice is being provided, pursuant to Section 99.825, RSMo, and in accordance with Section 99.830, RSMo, to inform you that there will be a public hearing held by the Tax Increment Financing Commission of Kansas City, Missouri (the "Commission"), as follows:

WHY: regarding the termination of the Prospect North Tax Increment Financing Plan (the "Plan") and the termination of the designation of Redevelopment Project Areas 1, 2, and 3.
The purpose of this hearing is for the Commission to consider recommending that the City Council of Kansas City, Missouri (1) terminate the Prospect North Tax Increment Financing Plan (B) terminate the designation of the Redevelopment Area and the Redevelopment Project Areas 1, 2, and 3 (C) declare as surplus all Payments in Lieu of Taxes and Economic Activity Taxes, if any, on deposit in the Special Allocation Fund established in connection with the Redevelopment Plan, if any, and remit the same to the affected taxing districts in accordance with Section 99.850 RSMo.
The Redevelopment Plan Area is generally bounded by NE 82nd Street on the north, Agnes on the west, the northern city limit of Gladstone, MO on the south, and Missouri State Highway 1 on the east in Kansas City, Clay County, MO.
The Plan, together with all amendments thereto, in connection with this public hearing may be reviewed by any interested party on or after July 3, 2026, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at the Commission offices located at 300 Wyandotte, Suite 400, Kansas City, Missouri, 64105.
In accordance with Section 99.830.2(3), RSMo, all interested parties will be given an opportunity to be heard at the public hearing. According to Section 99.830.3, RSMo, each taxing district located wholly or partially within the Redevelopment Area may submit comments or objections to the Commission concerning the subject matter of the public hearing prior to the date of the public hearing.
