NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Grandview Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 6:00PM in City Hall, 1200 Main Street, Grandview, Missouri, to consider the following: Applications have been filed by Brenda Haddad of Kittle Property Group, Inc. for a Zoning Map Amendment (PC25-09) and Conceptual Development Plan (PC25-10) two properties located at 14925 S US 71 HWY and Unaddressed Parcel #67-720-11-06-00-0-00-000, totaling 9.67 acres. The legal description for these parcels is as follows: BELVIDERE HEIGHTS ADD LOT 7 BLK 14 (EX TR IN NE COR TO VIRGIL C COX 2-19-57) and BELVIDERE HEIGHTS ADD LOT 1 BLK 14 The properties are currently zoned Single-Family Residential (R-1) and General Commercial (C-2). The applicant is seeking to amend the zoning map and rezone both properties to Planned District (PD). Following the Zoning Map Amendment hearing, a hearing for a Conceptual Development Plan will take place for these properties. The applicant is proposing a 204-unit apartment complex. The Grandview Board of Aldermen will hold public hearings on the proposed Zoning Map Amendment and Conceptual Development Plan on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at 7:00pm in the Board Chambers in City Hall, 1200 Main Street, Grandview, Missouri. Interested individuals are invited to attend and submit comments and questions at these public hearings. Owners of property within 185 feet of the property described above who wish to protest the Zoning Map Amendment application ONLY (PC25-09) may submit a protest petition to the Community Development Director prior to the Board of Aldermen public hearing. If valid protest petitions are received from owners of 30 percent or more of the subject property within 185 feet, approval shall require a minimum two-thirds vote of the Board of Aldermen. Protest petitions are available at the Community Development Department at City Hall, 1200 Main Street.
