
REQUEST FOR
QUALIFICATIONS REGARDING DESIGN-BUILD SERVICES
The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from companies interested in providing design-build services for the I-70 Pavement Widening and Improvement Project in Warren and Callaway Counties. This project will add one lane in each direction on I-70 from just east of US 54 in Kingdom City to just east of West Warrenton Blvd. in Warrenton approximately 44 miles in length. The budget for this project is approximately $612 million. One design-build team will be selected to design and construct the project.
Those interested in receiving the Request for Qualifications requirements should send an e-mail request to improvei70@modot.mo.gov. The Request for Qualifications will be released on May 13th, 2026. An Industry Meeting is scheduled for May 18th, 10 am at the Riechmann Indoor Pavilion, 2300 E Walnut St, Columbia, MO 65201. This project is being completed in conjunction with the larger effort aimed at 6-laning I-70 from Wentzville to Blue Springs with an anticipated total budget of $2.8 Billion.
