QUESTION 1 Shall the Board of Education of Center School District No. 58 of Jackson County, Missouri issue its general obligation bonds in the amount of $29,000,000 for the purpose of improving, repairing, renovating, furnishing and equipping school facilities, including but not limited to classroom and building improvements, athletic facilities, and playground and security upgrades? If this question is approved, the District’s debt service property tax levy is estimated to remain unchanged at $0.90 per $100 of assessed valuation of real and personal property. Yes No QUESTION 2 Shall the Board of Education of Center School District No. 58 of Jackson County, Missouri be authorized to increase the operating tax levy ceiling to $4.2525 per $100 of assessed valuation according to the 2026 assessment and to use such funds to provide for school programs, operating costs, ongoing facility maintenance and capital improvements? If this question is approved, it is expected to result in no increase to the overall tax levy of the District as the operating tax levy is estimated to increase by 17 cents per $100 of assessed valuation and the debt service tax levy is estimated to decrease by the same amount.
