REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS Call for Waste Reduction, Reuse and Recycling Projects The MARC Solid Waste Management District, comprised of Cass, Clay, Jackson, Platte, and Ray Counties and all cities therein, seeks proposals that divert waste from area landfills through waste reduction, reuse, recycling, or resource recovery at the local level. Proposals may be submitted by any city, county, business, or non-profit organization in the district. Local governments are encouraged to apply. Pre-applications are due Tuesday, April 21 at 5:00 pm CDT which is required in order to submit a full application that is due July 20. It is recommended that interested applicants attend one of three information sessions to be held: Wednesday, March 11 at 9 am in-person at the MARC offices; Thursday, March 19 at 4:30 pm virtual only, or Monday, March 30 in-person and virtual at 2:30 pm.
