NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Public notice is hereby given that the University of Kansas Hospital Authority (the "Authority"), will conduct a public hearing on February 3, 2026 at 1:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as it may be heard, at 4000 Cambridge Street, Kansas City, Kansas, executive office conference room, second floor, regarding the issuance by the Authority of one or more series of qualified 501(c)(3) revenue bonds under Internal Revenue Code in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $500 million (the "Bonds"). The Bonds are proposed to be issued by the Authority pursuant to K.S.A. 76-3301 et seq., as amended, under a plan of finance (a) to finance, reimburse and refinance the costs, including acquisition, construction, furnishing and equipping, of certain health facilities of the Authority and its affiliates, including real and personal property, related to the Authority's Indian Creek campus (up to approximately $100 million) and the new cancer center on the Authority's 39th and Rainbow campus (up to approximately $100 million) and other capital projects of the Authority and its affiliates (collectively the "Projects"); (b) to refund all or any portions of the Authority's Health Facilities Refunding and Improvement Revenue Bonds (KU Health System) Series 2015, the Authority's Variable Rate Demand Health Facilities Revenue Bonds (KU Health System), Series 2004, and/or the Kansas Development Finance Authority's Variable Rate Demand Health Facilities Revenue Bonds (KU Health System) Series 2011J; and (c) to fund related interest, reserves and issuance costs for such projects and bonds. The health facilities and equipment of the Authority and its affiliates to be financed, reimbursed or refinanced, with proceeds of the Bonds are or will be owned and operated by the Authority or its affiliates and are at the Authority's main medical center campus located south of W 37th Ave, north of W 42nd Ave, east of Rainbow Blvd, and west of State Line Rd, the principal address for which is 4000 Cambridge St., Kansas City, KS, and at the Authority's Indian Creek campus located south of W 107th St, north of Interstate Hwy 435, east of Lamar Ave, and west of Nall Ave, the principal address for which is 10710 Nall Ave, Overland Park, KS. The hearing will be open to the public and will provide a reasonable opportunity for interested persons to express their views, both orally and in writing, on the proposed issuance of Bonds under the plan of finance and the location and nature of the facilities.
