2026 One-Year Action Plan Covering the City's Request for Proposals for the Following Federal
Program Proposed Entitlements:
Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG) $7,600,000.00
HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) $ 2,200,000.00
Emergency Solutions Grant Program (ESG) $670,000.00
Housing Opportunities for Persons With Aids Program(HOPWA) $2,200,000.00
Total Projected Funding $12,670,000.00

The City of Kansas City begins its 2026 One-Year Action Plan Request for Proposals (RFP) schedule with public
workshops sponsored by the City's Housing and Community Development Department. The 2026 Action Plan will be year five of the Five-Year Consolidated Plan (2022-2026). The Plan includes information on housing needs, market conditions, goals, and multi-year strategies and objectives for addressing the City's housing and community development needs.

The Citizen Participation Plan & Guide to Requesting Funding Under the 2026 Action Plan will be
available January 5, 2026, on the City's website:

ALL 2026 REQUESTS FOR FUNDING ARE DUE Tuesday, February 17, 2026, by 10:00 PM CST.
NO FUNDING REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE DEADLINE.

The public commenting period is open for 45-days beginning January 5, 2026 and ends on February 19, 2026 at 11:59 PM CST..

Evidence of attendance at a NOFO workshop is required to submit an application. A recorded
workshop will be made available for those unable to attend a live workshop.
