SCHOOL BOARD ELECTIONS (Public Notice of Filing) The Raytown C-2 School District encourages qualified persons interested in running for a position on the School Board to file to be a candidate in the April 7, 2026, election. There are three positions available with three-year terms. Interested persons may file at the superintendent's office located at 6608 Raytown Rd., Raytown, MO. Filing will begin on December 9, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. Filing will end on December 30, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. In-between, candidates may file by appointment only. Except for the first and last day of filing, filing will not occur on days that the school district's administration offices are closed due to inclement weather or other health-related reasons. The district may not open even on the first and last day of filing if weather conditions make it unsafe for school staff to travel. Filing will also not occur on the following holidays and breaks when the school district's administration offices are closed: December 23, 24, 25, 26, 29, and 30.
