NOTICE OF SPECIAL ELECTION JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 2025 Notice is hereby given to the qualified voters of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Legislature has called an election, pursuant to Ordinance #5989 dated June 30, 2025, to be held in said County at the Special Election on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. on the following question: The Kansas City Board of Election Commissioners will conduct the election in that portion of Jackson County within the corporate limits of Kansas City. The official ballot will be in substantially the following form: OFFICIAL BALLOT JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 2025 QUESTION #1 Shall Articles III, IV, and V of the Jackson County Charter, adopted by vote on November 3, 1970, and as amended by public votes on August 8, 1978, April 2, 1985, November 4, 1986, August 2, 1994, August 3, 2010, and November 6, 2018 be amended to require that the Charter Office of the Jackson County Assessor no longer be a qualified appointee and instead be an elected position?
