The 2025 Action Plan is year four of the Five-Year Consolidated Plan (2022-2026). The Plan includes information on housing needs, market conditions, goals, and multi-year strategies and objectives for addressing the City’s housing and community development needs: • To the greatest extent possible, provide program assistance to the strategic target areas identified in the Five-Year Consolidated Plan which are largely east of Troost; creating and implementing partnerships for housing rehabilitation • Provides assistance for the development of affordable rental housing, single-family housing, public services; and public facilities; • Maintains housing and public service options for homeless persons, especially for families with children, through the existing network of providers; and • Maintains the provision of services to persons with HIV/AIDS in the eleven-county area. How to submit Public Comment/Participate Public Comments and recommendations on the City’s entitlement and funding recommendations can be submitted by google forms on the City of Kansas City, Missouri’s ’s website using the following link: https://forms.gle/NrFDRRvuEKyrHNh97 Comments will be accepted for 45 days beginning June 6, 2025 to July 22, 2025 by 11:59 p.m. Public hearings on the funding recommendations will be heard before the Neighborhood Planning and Development Committee on July 22, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. on the 26th Floor, City Hall, 414 East 12th Street, Kansas City, Missouri.
