PUBLIC NOTICE Geotechnical Testing in Jenkins Creek United Infrastructure Group (UIG) has applied to the SCDES BCM for a General Permit to conduct cone penetration testing (CPT) in Jenkins Creek west of the existing Dataw Island Bridge in Beaufort County. CPT involves pushing an instrumented steel cone into the ground to measure soil behavior, stratigraphy, and engineering properties.
