NOTICE OF SALE NOTICE OF SALE CIVIL ACTION NO. 2025-CP-07-02538 BY VIRTUE of the decree heretofore granted in the case of: Rocket Mortgage, LLC f/k/a Quicken Loans, LLC vs. Katryna Barney; Joseph Barney a/k/a Joseph Barney, III; Sincere Home Buyers, LLC; Discover Bank; GoodLeap, LLC, the undersigned Master in Equity for Beaufort County, South Carolina, will sell on July 6, 2026 at 11:00 AM, or on another date, thereafter as approved by the Court, at the Beaufort County Courthouse at 102 Ribaut Road, Beaufort, SC 29902, to the highest bidder: ALL that certain piece, parcel or lot of land, with improvements thereon, if any, situate, lying and being on St. Helena Island, Beaufort County, South Carolina and shown and designated as Lot 20, Vuepoint Subdivision on a plat surveyed by R.D. Trogdon, Jr., RLS, dated March 27, 1971 and recorded in the Office of the Register of Deeds for Beaufort County, South Carolina in Plat Book 26 at Page 148. For a more detailed description as to metes and bounds, courses and distances, reference is made to the above referenced plat of record. This property is subject to all applicable Covenants, Conditions, Restrictions, Easements, and Rights-of-Way filed of record in the Office of the Register of Deeds for Beaufort County, South Carolina, and any visible encroachments or projections. This being the same property conveyed to Joseph Barney, III, and Katryna Barney, as joint tenants with right of survivorship, by deed of Aaron J. Masavage dated January 17, 2020, and recorded January 23, 2020, in Book 3830 at Page 2230 in the Office of Register of Deeds for Beaufort County, South Carolina. CURRENT ADDRESS OF PROPERTY: 16 View Point Cir, Saint Helena Island, SC 29920 TMS: R300 018 00A 0043 0000 TERMS OF SALE: The successful bidder, other than the Plaintiff, will deposit with the Master In Equity, at conclusion of the bidding, five percent (5%) of its bid, in cash or equivalent to be applied to the purchase price in case of compliance, but in the case of non-compliance to be forfeited and applied first to the costs of sale and the balance of Plaintiff's debt. If the highest bidder fails to comply with the bid within thirty (30) days, the Master In Equity may re-sell the property on some subsequent sales day. No personal or deficiency judgment being demanded, the bidding shall be final on the sale date, and the successful bidder may comply immediately. The successful bidder shall pay all costs associated with recording the deed. The successful bidder will pay interest on the balance of the bid from sale date to compliance date at the rate of 4.49%. The sale shall be subject to taxes, assessments, easements and restrictions of record, and any senior encumbrances.
