TO THE DEFENDANTS: SUMMONS (Complaint not Attached) You are hereby summoned and required to Answer the Complaint in this action, a copy of which was duly filed in the office of the Clerk of Court of Common Pleas of Beaufort County, SC, on May 22, 2026; and to serve a copy of your Answer to the Complaint on the subscriber at his office at 800 Congress St, Beaufort, SC 29902, within thirty (30) days after the service hereof, exclusive of the day of service; and if you fail to answer the Complaint within the time aforesaid, the Plaintiff in this action will apply to the Court and judgment by default will be rendered against you for the relief demanded in the Complaint. NOTICE TO UNKNOWN DEFENDANTS And to any thereof that may be residents or non-residents of SC, and to the natural, general, testamentary or other guardian, ward, or committee thereof, and to the person with whom they reside or by whom they may be employed, if any there be, and to all other Defendants whose whereabouts cannot be ascertained. TAKE NOTICE that the Summons, Lis Pendens (Notice of Pendency of Action), Complaint, Order Appointing Guardian ad Litem Nisi, Order of Publication and Notice to Defendants and Persons Under Disability were filed in the office of the Clerk of Court of Beaufort County, SC on May 22, 2026, and on May 28, 2026, Cherese T. Handy at 1011 Bay Street, Ste 2B, Beaufort, SC 29902 was appointed Guardian ad Litem Nisi. LIS PENDENS Notice is hereby given that an action has been commenced and is now pending in this Court upon the Complaint of the above Plaintiffs against the Defendants to determine ownership of the real property located in Beaufort County, SC and described on Attachment A hereto. ATTACHMENT A ALL that parcel of real property situate on Lady's Island in Beaufort County, SC containing 2.24 acres and described as to metes, courses, bounds, distances and directions on a plat prepared by David E.
