Noitce for Public Meeting The Lowcountry Council of Governments (LCOG) will host two drop-in public information meetings for the 2055 Long Range Transportation Plans (LRTPs) for the Lowcountry Area Transportation Study (LATS) and the LCOG. The LRTP is a 20-year plan that guides transportation investments across the LATS urban and the LCOG rural regions (including Beaufort, Colleton, Hampton, and Jasper counties). The meeting for the LCOG rural region will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Lowcountry Council of Governments Office Board Room (634 Campground Road, Yemassee, SC 29945). The meeting for the LATS urban region will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Palmetto Electric Cooperative (1 Cooperative Way, Hardeeville, SC 29927). Each meeting will be conducted as an open house with no formal presentation. Meeting materials will be available online by June 8, 2026.
