Notice is hereby given that the Beaufort County Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 5:00 PM in the Council Chambers, 100 Ribaut Road, Beaufort, to consider the following applications:
Bryan Stinger is requesting a Variance to place a sign closer than 10 feet from the property line. The property is located at 65 Sams Point Road, Lady's Island. The property acreage is .42 acres. The property is zoned Lady's Island Expanded Home Business (LIEHB). (Deferred from Last Month's Meeting)
Allen Patterson is requesting a Special Use Permit to do Mining. The property is located at 83 Bermuda Bluff Road. The property acreage for the mine is five (5) acres. The property is zoned T2-Rural (T2R).
Bruce & Bonnie Jentner are requesting a Variance to add a deck within the 50-foot River Buffer. The property is located at 9 River Club Drive. The property acreage is .33 acres. The property is zoned Fripp Island Planned Unit Development (FIPUD)
Cristopher & Julie Gossett are requesting a Variance to remove trees from their property. The property is located at 244 Malind Bluff Drive. The property acreage is .14 acres. The property is zoned Osprey Point Planned Unit Development (OPPUD).
Interested members of the public and adjoining landowners may appear at the public hearing, be heard, and submit evidence and written comments with respect to the application.
