PUBLIC NOTICE Jeff Sherry has applied to the South Carolina Department of Environmental Services Bureau of Coastal Management for a permit to construct a bulkhead. The proposed bulkhead will be approx. 100' in length and have approx. 8' of exposure. The proposed riprap will be placed at the toe of the wall for toe protection and will be approx. 100' in length, 4' wide, and 4' tall. The face of the bulkhead will be placed along the SCDES-BCM critical line, and the riprap will extend no further channelward than 4' from the critical line. The purpose of this project is for shoreline protection at 896 May River Road, Bluffton, Beaufort County, South Carolina (TMS: R600 038 000 011A 0000) on and adjacent to the May River.
