NOTICE OF ELECTION STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA JASPER COUNTY The Democratic and Republican parties will hold primaries on Tuesday, June 9, 2026. Any necessary runoffs will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2026. Any person wishing to vote in the primaries and runoffs must register no later than Sunday, May 10, 2026. Voter registration forms received by mail will be accepted if postmarked by Monday, May 11, 2026. The early voting period for these primaries begins on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, and ends on Friday, June 5, 2026. The following two (2) early voting centers will be open during the early voting period from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday (closed Saturdays and Sundays). At 8:00am on Thursday, June 11, 2026, the Jasper County Board of Canvassers will hold a hearing to determine the validity of all provisional ballots cast in the primaries. At 8:00am on Thursday, June 25, 2026, the Jasper County Board of Canvassers will hold a hearing to determine the validity of all provisional ballots cast in any necessary runoffs. These hearings will be held at The Late Senator Clementa Pinckney Government Building, located at 358 Third Avenue, 3rd Floor, in the Council Chambers, Ridgeland, SC 29936, (843)726-7709.
