PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
The Jasper County Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a Public Hearing to receive comments on a request for a variance from Article 7:3 - Table 1 of the Jasper County Zoning Ordinance, Minimum Lot Size Requirements and Yard Setback Requirements and Article 12:8.2-3 – Table 4 of the Jasper County Zoning Ordinance, Bufferyard Requirements. The applicant is seeking a reduced setback along the rear (westerly) property line from 15', varyingly, to a minimum of 1.1 feet. The applicant is also seeking to allow an 8' masonry buffer wall along the rear (westerly) property line in lieu of 25' vegetation and/or wooden fencing.
The applicant is Lowcountry Paver, LLC. The subject property is located at 535 Stiney Road and is identified by tax map number: 029-40-04-022.
The Public Hearing will take place on April 21, 2026 at 10:00 am in the County Council Chambers located in the Clementa C. Pinckney Government Building, 358 Third Avenue, Ridgeland, SC 29936.
