Public Notice Rex Strickland has applied to the South Carolina Department of Environmental Services Bureau of Coastal Management to construct a 170 linear foot timber marine retaining wall, 7' in height. The retaining wall will extend no further than 18" from the verified critical area line. Additionally to propose two tree wells incorporated into the wall. The tree wells will be 8.2'x8'and 8'x8' to be no further than 8'from the critical area line. The purpose of the project is to control erosion at 1268 Windswept Oak Lane, Beaufort, SC 29902.
