LOWCOUNTRY COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS PUBLIC NOTICE AMENDMENTS TO THE FY 2024-FY 2033 TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM The Lowcountry Area Transportation Study (LATS), the transportation planning agency for the Beaufort - Jasper urbanized area, is requesting the public to review and provide comments on proposed amendments to the FY 2024 – 2033 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The TIP is the short-term programming document that lists transportation improvement projects to receive funding in fiscal years 2024 – 2033. The report providing details of the proposed TIP amendments will be available for review on or before March 4th, 2026 at the Lowcountry Councils of Governments office and on the LCOG website at www.lowcountrycog.org. Any changes to the report will be posted on the website. The comment period starts on March 4th, 2026. Written comments on the proposed TIP amendments will be accepted until close of business on March 25th, 2025.
