Opportunity for Public Review and Comment on the Lowcountry Area Transportation Study (LATS) Transportation Resilience Improvement Plan
The Lowcountry Area Transportation Study (LATS), the transportation planning agency for the Beaufort - Jasper urbanized area, is requesting the public to review and provide comments on Draft Transportation Resilience Improvement Plan (TRIP).
The TRIP identifies the greatest vulnerabilities in the transportation system and create an actionable plan to implement resilience improvements across the region. The TRIP also meets the requirements of the Federal Highway Administration's (FHWA) Promoting Resilient Operations for Transformative, Efficient, and Cost-Saving Transportation (PROTECT) Program for a resilience improvement plan.
The document can be found on our website at www.lowcountrycog.org. It can be viewed at the Lowcountry Council of Governments, 634 Campground Road, Point South, Yemassee, SC.
