Public Notice The Harbour Town Yacht Club Boat Slip Owners Association, Inc. c/o The Club Group, Ltd. has applied to the South Carolina Department of Environmental Services, Bureau of Coastal Management for a critical area permit for replacement of the existing siltation barrier located on the Harbour Town Pier within the Harbour Town Yacht Basin, Sea Pines Plantation, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina (32.138886°, -80.813838°). The existing structure is 363.47 feet long by 3.65 feet wide (0.03 acre) and contains timber piles, walers and aluminum sheet pile. All components of the wall will be replaced. The new wall will be installed within the same footprint as the existing wall with only minor deviations associated with minor deviations in the structure's configuration due to changes in materials. The new wall will consist of the following:122 SG950 Vinyl Sheet piles, 41 12x53 Steel H- Piles, 878 linear feet of 10x10 timber guard walers (polymer wrapped timber). The project is for private use.
