NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Zoning Board of Appeals
Notice is hereby given that the Beaufort County Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 5:00 PM in the Council Chambers, 100 Ribaut Road, Beaufort, to consider the following applications:
1. Christina Johnson is requesting a Special Use Permit for Lodging, Short-Term Rental. The property is located at 193 Ernest Drive, St. Helena Island. The property acreage is 1.673 acres. The property is zoned T2-Rural (T2R).
2. Jonathan Yates is requesting a Special Use Permit for a Communication Tower. The property is located at 237 Brickyard Point Road, Lady's Island. The property acreage is 8.60 acres. The property is zoned Lady's Island Community Preservation. (LICP).
3. Daniel Mustin is requesting a Variance to construct a fence taller than 4-foot. The property is located at 3 Bajala Drive East, Lady's Island. The property acreage is .69 acres. The property is zoned T2-Rural Neighborhood (T2RN).
Interested members of the public and adjoining landowners may appear at the public hearing, be heard, and submit evidence and written comments with respect to the application.
