Public Notice Ocean Creek Golf Course and Ocean Point Golf Course, 201 Tarpon Blvd, Fripp Island, SC 29920 have applied to the SC Department of Environmental Services for Groundwater Withdrawal Permits, under the Groundwater Use and Reporting Act for one (1) proposed and one (1) existing golf course irrigation well located at approximately N32.3132777778, W-804894166667 and N32.3313889, W-80.4675 respectively in Beaufort County, SC. A proposed maximum groundwater withddrawal limit increase from 0 to 62.9 million gallons per year for Ocean Creek Golf Course and an increase from 0 to 36 million gallons per year for Ocean Point Golf Course each from the Upper Floridian aquifer has been developed from calculated water use requirements for one (1) golf course irrigation well each on approximately 72 and 120 acres respectively for emergency use only.
