PUBLIC NOTICE Chuck Hobart has applied to the South Carolina Department of Environmental Services Bureau of Coastal Management for a permit to construct 459 LF of FRP bulkhead and riprap toe protection. The front face of the bulkhead will be in line with the critical line. The riprap quantity will total 1.0 CY/LF from L3-L11 and the 31' segment, and 0.15 CY/LF from L19-L25. The wall will be 12' in max height, and the riprap will be approx. 10' wide and 5' tall from L3-L11 including the 31' segment, and 4' wide and 2' tall from L19-L25. The total riprap will be approx. 300 cubic yards. The purpose is to provide shoreline protection at 28 Minuteman Drive, Bluffton, SC 29910.
