The Town of Hilton Head Island Planning Commission will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the Town Government Center, Benjamin M. Racusin Council Chambers, One Town Center Court, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. The following item is scheduled for review:
Public Hearing
ZMA-000925-2025: Public Hearing Request from the Town of Hilton Head Island, owner, for a Rezoning Application to amend the Port Royal and Surrounds Master Plan as part of the Planned Development Mixed Use Zoning District (PD-1) for the 4.667 acre portion of the property identified on Beaufort County Tax Maps as Parcel R510 009 000 1199 0000, located on Union Cemetery Road, and shown on the plat entitled a Subdivision Plat of Lot 1 #50 Dillon Road prepared for St. James Baptist Church dated 04-24-24 to change the allowable use to Religious Institution to allow for the relocation of St. James Baptist Church to this property; and to provide for Severability and an Effective Date.
ZA-001029-2025: Public Hearing Request from Chester H. Williams, Esq., on behalf of Hilton Head Preparatory School, for a Rezoning Application to amend the Official Zoning Map for the properties identified on Beaufort County Tax Maps as Parcels R550 018 000 0218 0000 and R550 018 000 218B 0000, located on Cordillo Parkway, to change the zoning from Planned Development Mixed-Use District (PD-1) as part of the Sea Pines Master Plan to the Residential Single-Family District – 5 (RSF-5) to allow the development of faculty housing for Hilton Head Preparatory School; and to provide for Severability and an Effective Date.
PPR-001035-2025: Public Hearing Request from Neal Eike, with the Town of Hilton Head Island, for an Application for Public Project Review for the property identified on Beaufort County Tax Maps as Parcel R550 014 000 0763 0000, also identified as 30 Arrow Road for the development of a new pickleball facility on a Town-owned parcel.
