NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT A PUBLIC HEARING will be held on Monday, October 6, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. (or as soon thereafter as time permits) in the Jasper County Council Chambers at the Clementa C. Pinckney Government Building located at 358 3rd Avenue, Ridgeland, South Carolina, on an ordinance to amend Jasper County Ordinance O-2024-13 for fiscal year 2025 Jasper County budget to provide for amendments to the budget and to carryover approved lapsing funds to fiscal year 2026, and to amend Jasper County Ordinance O-2025-14 for fiscal year 2026 Jasper County budget to provide for amendments to the budget resulting from the carryover of approved lapsing funds from fiscal year 2025, to reclassify accounts to provide clarification, and provide corrections to expenditures and the Fiscal Year 2026 Fee Schedule, and matters related thereto. Copies of the Ordinances may be viewed on the County website (www.jaspercountysc.gov) and/or may be obtained from the Jasper County Clerk to Council (Telephone Number (843) 717-3696), 358 3rd Avenue, Ridgeland, SC 29336. At the public hearing all taxpayers and residents of Jasper County and other interested persons who appear will be given an opportunity to express their views for or against the ordinance.
