Public Notice Barrier Island Marine Contractors, LLC has applied to the South Carolina Department of Environmental Services Bureau of Coastal Management for a permit to make modifications to the existing joint-use dock. Specifically, to the receive after-the-fact authorization for the 3'x4' cantilevered sink. To add a 12'x15' extension to the flood side of the existing 15'x60' floating dock. To replace the decking boards on the floating dock. To construct a new 12'x12' four-pile boatlft on the shoreward side of the floating dock for private, joint recreational use at 24 Myrtle Island Road and 28 Myrtle Island Road along the May River.
